In fact, he’s been in trouble more times than many can count. In 2001, O.J. was arrested for burglary and battery and faced 16 years in prison but was acquitted.
The same year, the former athlete was also accused of money laundering and possessing illegal substances and was later sued in federal court for the charges. However, the most unusual crime came in September 2007, when the Palace Station hotel and casino in Las Vegas was robbed with weapons. Simpson was questioned and admitted to being involved.
